Normally I take mild compound and get all the black marks off the car, but I was bored and kept on going. Buffed the car with Meguiar's Ultimate Compound then waxed with NXT (couldn't find my Rejex). Turned out nice for a 120,000 mile car. If I'd never made it a racecar you'd never know it had miles on it. Turns out the mild compound cleans up the white graphics and makes them bright again.

Shopdog wanted to lend a hand but his lack of opposable thumbs didn't help much...

Yeah and my truck.... want to buy a bigger truck and put a cage in the silver car. I've enjoyed the red car over the past year a bunch, but would rather focus on racing for 2011.

Nah... he's my buddy... he's sleeping in my lap right now :) My GF bought him shortly after she moved in with me, but I've really taken to him. Always had big dogs, but never one with the personality of this little guy.

David Bowie "Bowie" the little Yorkie with big ears

I know what you mean...I always thought I was a big dog guy...but when my folks got the Chihuahuas...there is just something about the little dogs, and the personality and energy they have...

Car looks good BTW

That is a pretty cute doggy, I'll give you that. Looks like you take it to the spa too, all shiny and well groomed.

^ GF gets him groomed every few months. The have hair (vs. fur) so they don't shed and it needs to be cut.

My family has raised Yorkies for a couple generations now. Big dogs have their place, and these little ones can get down right obnoxious if you get a rotten one, but a good one will make for a great pet.

That's for sure.... my GF's dad and his wife got a yorkie of their own after dog-siting Bowie a few times (his charm was irresistable!). Their dog is actually quite annoying whereas Bowie is just a loving little guy.

I think part of it is that your typical Yorkie owner doesn't try to train/discipline the dog... they just want a little buddy.

I trained him from 7 weeks as I would a lab. He knows his place in the "pack" and is very mindful of me (he doesn't listen to my GF at all). I've only gotten him to sit and lay down with any real success. He will come to me when called, but not instantly like a well trained lab. Getting him to stay is tough, but I didn't push him too hard on this one.
