Wow, This show started out pretty awesome, but damn it got dark fast. I really lost interest when they showed the graphic gang rape of Gemma, then another person getting their brains splattered, I stopped watching a while...then tonight they burn a girl alive, in front of her father.
I like a good bloody movie and stuff, hell yeah.
But this needs to be on HBO or something...its too much for a 9pm time slot.

the show was on @ 10:00 , but I agree - they are getting away with a lot on that show. Still good TV though

sorry to hear :sadangel:

My wife and I have been engrossed with SOA since we started watching in on Netflix. We have the last episode of season 4 to watch and have dvr'd the first of season 5. Some of it is pretty gruesome, but hey, its an outlaw motorcycle club based show. What else do you expect? I love the show personally, and will continue to watch it.

Not saying its not a good show, and by all means continue to watch it...
But i dont think it should be on at 9pm on regular cable.
You really want a kid to be flipping through and watch a woman be lit on fire in front of her dad, or to watch a woman get stripped and brutally gang raped?
yes I know.."a good parent monitors what their kid sees"...but FX is regular cable TV and just flipping through, you see it..

I see where you're coming from. But, on the other side....FX has done what the "lawyers" have told them to adding the "Viewer discretion is advised". Beyond that, whatever makes it past the censors should be watched by the parents. I know it ain't right, but what more can they do? I won't order HBO or any other channel to watch tv. I pay enough for the half assed satellite we get now. And over 3/4 of the channels are not watched as it is.

I forgot the new season was starting up. I'll have to check the ol' DVR. :seasix:
Never watched SoA, but kids can flip through the channels and see people using a bong on Wilfred or Workaholics.
Try watching Always Sunny.
Or...a parent can block content that is TVMA, and adults can still enjoy the programming.

USA took the leap last season on SUITS...allowing multiple utterings of "shit" on every episode, Id say the average about 10 per episode.
Pretty sure Ive heard F-bombs on cable too.
Pretty soon...full nudity at 7pm...
