That's awesome!

On a serious note, The Aggies leaving the Big 12 was really a thumb of the nose to not only other Texas teams who have enjoyed the rivalry tradition, but also a thumb at the noses of Aggie alumni, who ALSO have enjoyed the tradition of in-state rivalry.

What kind of Texas is this when UT and TAMU don't play every year at Thanksgiving? What kind of Texas is this when TAMU and Baylor don't play every year? A&M ****ed up, I don't care what kind of $$ deal they got. Sometimes, tradition and doing the right thing is more important than a cut of the TV revenue. A&M sold their soul, and they didn't have that many black kids to begin with (pun intended, any perceived racial angle NOT intended or implied).

IMHO, it would have been better had the SWC never broken up in the first place.

I really disagree. Most of my aggie friends are pretty excited about the SEC. I'm really looking forward to having the SEC here in the biggest football state in the country. Better recruiting, better rivalries, better games, all in our back yard now.
