My Brother in law and I went to Beaver Run and participated in several venues during their October Fest Event. Drove for two hours in on and off again rain to get there!

The first event we entered was Flat Out Laps. You paid $10 to run their 12 turn 1.6 mile track with one of their instructors as a co-pilot. I now know why the OEM GYs are called runcraps! The lack of grip was unnerving to say the least! So I couldn't run as fast as I would have liked, also the instructor, Bob (heck of a nice guy) was spewing instructions and advice at me and I couldn't hear him with the helmet on and the window down! It was a blast none the less!!!! Here's a few pics of me and my Brother in law running my Vette around the track.

This was the scariest turn, it's over the crest of a hill and you can't see it until you pop over at full throttle. 8.5 on the Pucker Meter!

Beaverun is going to be having plenty of events this year... Autocross ( both low key events AND SCCA events ), Time Trials ( North track and Wilson Circuit ) and their Flat Out Fridays. I believe NASA has an event there this year again ( will double check ) as well.

Our SCCA region will be helping with the low key autocrosses this year using our timing gear and man power.

Plus there's just about something for everyone there... off roading, drifting, karting and driving school.
