Lasagna, with a gin and tonic. I opened a fresh jar of jalapenos to put on the lasagna...they must have been meant for Subway. Holy Fcukin' Sheit!
It's Sunday morning here in Japan...coffee for now but I did have a couple of Sam Adams Octoberfest beers when I got back from Fuji yesterday.

:yesnod:
I love it. Never had it any other way.
I've eaten it this way on rice, by itself ore even between 2 pieces of crusty bread as a sandwich.
I thought you guys fry it?
Cypriot cooking is very village like.
Small town, small farming communities that grow their own vegetables and raise their own lamb, goats, chicken and such.
Texans-Saints game
Pork Chops and a Dr. Pepper

Bleck.....slimey okra and grits are two foods I will NEVER enjoy no matter how long I have lived here.
As to the jalapenos, you need to buy fresh, get the ones that look like they are starting to turn with the small thin brown lines on them....those are the hotter ones. For real heat, you can fry them whole in oil, sans breading. It's called Chiles torreado. The frying brings out the heat.

Just done from racing and sending off one of my 20 year client's sons to boot camp with the Air Force. Miller Lite mostly, as I finished all of my Heineken. Just finished re-drawing the race map for tomorrow, so now it's time to have a few more. :seasix::datawiz:

We do fry it, but stewing it is almost as popular, especially prepared the way you have it. And, like you say, serving that on a bed of rice and some buttered French bread on the side, is Grandmomma slapping good!

Honey Nut Cheerios with milk and a glass of ice water. I have no motivation to actually make something requiring any more effort than cold cereal.

I can't think of anything one might typically put on a baked potato that might open an artery.

Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon, bacon wrapped skrimps with a touch of soy sauce, plain skrimps with all of this being cooked on the grill. Also, fresh baked rolls...how I love the smell of bread baking, pasta salad, and to drink Tangueray and some Orange Juice (that's my buddy) while for me, plain ole Crystal Light. I'm watching the short track race too. I'm not the biggest fan of short track but it'll do.
