Nikon intro’s the powerful and versatile Coolpix P7700 and ultra-mini Coolpix S01
Aside from gushing about the first Android-powered Coolpix S800c camera, Nikon has also introduced two other digital shooters under the Coolpix product line. These are compact and yet seemingly powerful and versatile; the Coolpix P7700 and the Coolpix S01.

First, let’s take a look at the Coolpix P7700. This digital shooter boasts of a sharp 7.1x zoom NIKKOR ED glass lens with maximum aperture of f/2 and a 12.2MP CMOS sensor. Aside from capturing photos which according to Nikon are stunning in sharpness and vivid in color, the camera also records full HD 1080p video. Short of being an entry-level DSLR, the Coolpix P7700 will cater to both point-and-shoot users to professionals looking for a back-up to DSLR cameras.

The Nikon Coolpix S01 on other hand is geared more for you if you’re always on the go and needs to take snaps of anything from time to time. This camera is said to be so slim that it can be slipped into your pocket or purse. Specs-wise, it boasts of a 2.5-inch touchpanel, 10MP CCD sensor, built-in flash, and electornic VR.

The Nikon Coolpix P7700 and Coolpix S01 are expected to hit the market sometime in September for $449.95 and $179.95 respectively.

I'm glad to see somebody is listening to the consumer regarding unlimited Data. It'll be interesting to see how the t-mobile reception is compared to AT&T, here in TX. I will be upgrading to the new Iphone 5...I wonder if T-mobile wouldn't be better than my grandfathered in AT&T.

T-Mobile's network blows, so unlimited means absolutely nothing.

Yes, but every month when I max out my data on my Iphone and get "throttled back", the phone becomes completely useless...even the most basic apps (maps) crash since there's almost no data available.

I've only ever been with Tim-Mobile. They have always been the lower priced provider, and I like the HTC & Samsung phones they offer.

Although they are ever expanding their coverage area.... it is true that their coverage can be spotty. They are great in most large cities. As you leave town... as long as you're nead a major interstate - you'll be fine. But, off the beaten path - you will have areas of no/limited coverage.

Funny, I've had T-mobile for 11 years and never had any sort of issue. In fact, I can probably count on both of my hands the number of times I've had any sort of dropped calls. I'd have a pretty hard time ever switching networks unless TMo did something monumentally stupid.

I evaluated T-Mobile and got shit coverage, which is why I went back to Verizon, even though I hate this company with every ounce of my being, they do still have the best network.

I'm a VERY fortunate to have the coveted unlimited 4G. :yesnod:

Where were you? When I lived in St. Pete and Orlando, I always had great coverage in all the surrounding areas.

When I switched, it was Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale. Now it's Fort Myers and Sarasota. Fort Myers, where I live, was major suckage.
