Went up to watch some racing and meet the infamous FG. It was a great day to break out the bike and head up to West Virginia.

Also met the owner of a Ford GT that was on the track as well. Always great to see guys use their cars for what it was designed for.

Looks like a blast. FG was doing great. The guy in the red miata, not as well.

:iagree: George hasn't run Summit main yet. Hopefully if they can swing it, I'll run with their group. Hard to believe such a small group got a full track.

NASA Mid-Atlantic is on the main track next week. There is still tons of room...

That is a shot of the corkscrew. Position and car balance coming over the rise is paramount. The red miata paid attention to neither. He was on the apex coming in, which meant he was way wide out of the previous turn.Fatsguy's position was correct, just outside of track center and allowed him to apex about 2/3 of the way through. Good job:seasix:

Also, I bet he is not lifting under the bridge in the miata. That makes for a fun, stomach lifting ride.

Nice meeting you el vatormano.
Just got home. Had a blast, car ran nearly flawless. I think I broke a baffle in the fuel tank so I need to pull the sender cover off and check it out. Other than that, corded all four of my Hoosiers by the end of the second day. I forgot to flip them so i killed them earlier than I should have.
