They have some kinda' yard sale that runs along Hwy 27 from Alabama to Ohio or somewhere. I've been going every few years nearer the Chatt. area. HGTV must have had a dozen film crews in this area alone. I took a couple of pics. One crew was filming these girls shopping for vintage clothing...while wearing vintage clothes. Then there is the UFO house as you go up Signal Mtn. outside of Chattanooga.
This home was built by the late Curtis W. King in 1970, around the time the original Star Trek series ended. It sits on a road leading to Chattanooga's Signal Mountain and features a retractable staircase, like any good UFO should. Three-bedroom, two-bath house.

Tough to pry you away from Cajun country :D
I did see a cool twin reflex for $20. Would have looked good on a shelf.

I have too many vintage cameras, some of them I purchased new :D How sad is that. I have other things I like to look for.
Always liked this one. It's off of I-70 west of Denver in Genessee.

I have seen this house many times when heading up the hill. :seasix:
It was for sale not too many years back. I have always wanted to see the inside.

Drove by it a few years ago.
Even by my warped standards, I though it was .....stupid.
Talked to a buddy of mine that lives near Signal mtn, and was told that the steps no longer extended, (been stuck in the down posisition for years) and the roof had leak issues.

Sure, I'd get right on that plywood piece of shit and head straight for the sun since I'm sure it's specially coated against high heat and radiation. I swear it looks like a tree house that made a wrong turn.
