My female friend just bought a Lexus crossover, and you should see her reaction when I ask her how she likes her station wagon.

I hear that crap all the time from my buddies. I traded the C5 in on the 2011 Ford Edge. WTF was I thinking? :slap:

That photo brings back a funny memory. A teacher at my high school in the 60s bought one of those wagons new. He had it for a few weeks then brought it over to the auto shop and asked the teacher if he could have a look at it. He said something must be wrong because it was only getting 8-9 mpg.
The auto shop teacher opened the hood and there was a 429 with a 780 cfm double pumper Holley. Teacher said "Nothing wrong here."
Aren't they pissed off enough having to drive one?

VW's are nice, but Mom-Mom wanted this, sooooooo......Mom-Mom gets what makes her happy, then I'm happy, because I'm going to look at this C3 tomorrow and if I like, Pop-Pop will be happy......:D

Yvonne's daily driver is a SRX, all wheel drive. It's the last gen's body style.
It's a fantastic vehicle, but more a chick car. The newer one is even more a chick car IMO. I've tried to talk her out of getting the newer SRX; I don't care for the body style of the newest version.

You mean the rebadged Saturn Vue?
You mean the rebadged Saturn Vue?
We had a Saturn Vue, the SRX rides so much smoother, and quiet, hardly hear any road noise vs. Vue, a rolling tuna can.

We bought a wagon on purpose and no regrets. We have 50k on our 2010 Subrau Outback. Good fuel economy, AWD, room in the back for dogs, and great resale value. I am a little concerned that she got her hair cut short and started watching baseball though:lol:

Everything should be OK, unless maybe you start finding Indigo Girls and Melissa Etheridge CDs laying around....then maybe you need to start worrying.
