The silver one looks like the device I vacuum my other cars with. The black one loos good, but 1/2" ground clearance in the front wouldn't work where I live. (I live in the real world)

Must be one big f@ck'in car.

And the black one is parked in a seam where the driveway meets the sidewalk. The drop seems lower than it is.

I give them a "meh" +.
If I was 25, I would probably want one of each, but at 41, they just scream rice a roni to me.
God awful ugly commuter sedans with a bunch of plastic crap glued to them to make them look "racy" just doesn't appeal to me. They are Toyota Camrys on meth.
The engineering and mechanicals I love, the f'ng stupid boy-racer add ons kill it for me. Give me a G8 LSx 6 speed, like a boss.

Been there, done that, got the shirt-

Pics of my '08 GSR

forgot to apex the corner and went off at Spring Mountain. Pretty much the awd kept it going, but the gravel scratched the hell out of the rocker.

Pics of the most expensive car I ever owned (yes, it cost less than the C6, but operating costs were over the top for me).

here's a typical casualty of having a grocery getter that can pull 1 g on the factory tires:

If you like going to Starbucks, you can forget about that too. There is not a coffee lid made that will keep a beverage from getting all over the inside of these turbo awd imports.

 at the broken eggs. Yea, we had a couple at VIR last month. I thought they were better in the corners than they actually were. Same thing-they just slid right off the track.

That's still too low - the suspension travel has got to be near zero with the wheels tucked that much. :slap:

My S4 did alright.. :D

Got that now and am happy. One of the top 3 best cars i have owned actually. I've had it two years and will be looking to swap it out next summer. At that point it will be the longest i have owned a car since my jetta in college. I get bored and with all the cars out there i want to experience them all.

Typical Northwest car- common as dirt.

Never see that low front airdam on one- thankfully.

Elaborate on the operating cost statement.:waiting:

-Insurance was higher than my C6. As a matter of fact, it was the highest cost I've ever paid for a car. Obviously these things are crashing more with the younger drivers, but also all the evo specific, made in Japan only body parts (aluminum fenders, hood etc) cost an awful lot. These cars probably have a lower yearly production than Corvettes too. Not sure about Subaru.

-Tires in 10k miles. Same size as a c6 front 18"- I kept my extras and am still rolling the evo specific Yokohama A13c's on my vette. They are $3xx each, but nobody buys those when you can get other sticky tires for $200.

-Gas...omg, this car was a pig and it was always running out since the tank is less than 15 gallons. Jeremy Clarkson referred to the evo 10's tank as a 'pipette'. 15 mpg combined was typical for me. You get more than 300hp out of 120 cubic inches (3 hp/inch) you need to dump raw fuel on the pistons to keep them intact during boost. 5-6 mpg on a track.

-was too easy to drive fast on public street. you have no fear- the mitsu s-awc is way ahead of Subaru and Audi- I wouldn't even consider another awd car unless they get on board with torque vectoring and individual brake pressure biasing like the Evo has. I got the bird monthly- you have no patience for people driving near the speed limit.

-My LS3 car will rape it on the track or on any run up to speed over 80 mph. A strong V8 car will just tear up on these kinds of cars say in a race to 150- it did not have that muscle car or supercar type of performance. The back seat was decently sized though. The Evo feels good on the street, the vette feels good on a track where you can feel it approach limits in a safer environment. The Evo has the best steering feel on the planet, but it makes you drive like an asshole.

- lastly, it is a Mitsubishi. It broke on me a couple of times. Nothing serious, but I could tell the clutch was not going to make it past 30k miles either. High high maintenance. most of these cars will be ragged out by 60-70k miles.
