I really need to start backing up some of my files online.
I have 70gb of pictures, and 200gb of misc files (music, movies, ect).
If I could access the pictures backed up online from my Ipad, that'd be a very helpful feature. I believe my windows 7 back up file is close to 500gb.
Pricing is probably the first consideration, with the ipad access a 2nd.
What are you suggestions?

External hard drive is the route I went.

Whenever mine crashes, I just go the local coputer repair shop and pay some kid with 12 facial piercings and an orange mohawk to get it working again.

I have that now...but I'd like something off site. I guess I could leave an external HD at work and swap out HD's from time to time, but that doesn't give me ipad access, and it sort of exposes me to whatever is on the HD if shit were to ever hit the fan at work.

Whats your upload speed? That is going to take forever and a half to backup. I use onsite redundant backup on a gigabit network because I dont like waiting.

Not all that fast (5-10mbs), but I really don't care if it takes two weeks, or if I hve to mail an hd somewhere
As long as subsequent back ups are quick.

Try our new one, R1Soft CloudCopy - Easy to use online backup to the cloud for home and small office (http://www.R1Soft.com/cloudcopy). I personally just use a NAS here at home. We have a free trial.

I just started using Jungle Disk for off-site backup, but yeah it takes a while to upload your shit.
