Went last year, took the Fiero. Great show, had a blast. Thinking about going again this year.....anyone interested in meeting up? I don't know if I'll take the Fiero or the Vette, but either way, there are tons of fun roads to drive and lots of scenery. The drive up to Crested Butte is spectacular.

If anyone is interested, book your room NOW. They fill up quick. The super 8 across from the show is already sold out, but there are plenty of rooms in the $75-$85 a night range still available.

I've still gotta clear the time off at work (going thru a bit of turnover right now) but I think it's doable.

Anyone up for it?

BTW...VERY high elevations. Ensure your car and brakes are up to snuff.

Love Gunnison (Colorado guy here), about a 6 hour drive from SLC, let me see what I can do.

Do it. If you guys want to go, I'll take the Vette this year. We'll have a blast! :cert:

If it was September I would try to make it. But I have a show to go to in Hannibal on 08/04/12 and IIRC a birthday party around this time in KC.

I think we should plan a tour up the CA coast for next year.

This sounds like a perfect way to meet up. But timing is everything. We just receive a contract on our house last week and we will be signing a contract on a new place tomorrow. If both go through we'll be moving at the end of August.

Yep, sure is. As I said, we're going through some big changes at work, so I'm not certain that I can do it or not either. But if we can't this year, it would be great for 2013 and we'd all have a years notice to line it up. Good central meeting point for a lot of us.....might even be able to talk the Canadian Cat into coming down. :)

Let's think about this, ONE of us has season tickets for the Broncos, been in the family since 1969, that would be 4 tickets. ONE of us doesn't have a running Vette to take so he will have to take his Charger. One of us could pile three others into his Charger and go catch Peyton's home opener against Seattle on Saturday night, the 18th. Gunnison is about a 3 hour drive from Denver, just saying....... Just need to make sure the old man hasn't spoken for them yet, but even if he did, I bet ONE of us could talk him out of them.
