Went to Calgary Stampede last Friday in the Vette and on Monday when we were ready to leave, I noticed the car seemed to take longer to start than usual. Anyways, after loading the luggage and getting ready to get into the car, I could smell a strong odor of gasoline. When I looked down, I could see this liquid coming from under the car. At first I thought it was just water as it had been raining off and on, but when I bent down to to see what it was, all I could see was gas pouring down from the bottom of the engine and soaking the cats. Holy shit I said, then reached up shut off the ignition yelled at the wife to get the Hell out of the car. After closer inspection, I could see fuel pissing out of the top of an injector. Well I'm 200 miles from home, no tools and no garage, this is gonna cost me. Fortunately there is a shop there that specializes in C4s that got me in fairly quickly. Well it seems that I must of nicked an o-ring 3 years ago when I installed them, that finally let go. All I can say, if it had happened say 10 minutes later while driving, well can you say FIRE!!. Well my Vette is home, my wallet is lighter and I need to dry out:D Hope you all had a better weekend than me:cert:

Wow, I can see how part of you wants to say 'what bad luck' but in reality I would say your luck was pretty good that day.

I'm the guy that uses his good luck on things like dropping a dime on the floor and having it land on it's side. What are the odds right, why couldn't I be buying a lottery ticket in that exact moment.:)

Tournament-style rodeo

The Calgary Stampede Rodeo is the world’s richest tournament-style rodeo, featuring over $2 million in prize money. Contestants are divided into two pools. The top four money winners in each pool advance to Showdown Sunday. The remaining six competitors in each pool compete on Wild Card Saturday. The top two in each event advance to Showdown Sunday – Rodeo’s Richest Afternoon with over $1 million to be given away. It all leads up to a one shot, go-for-broke performance with winners taking home the Calgary Stampede Championship and $100,000.

Hillbilly birth control
After having the 11th child, an Alabama couple decided that was enough since they could not afford a larger bed.

So the husband went to his doctor (veterinarian) and told him the he and his wife (cousin) didn't want to have any more children.

The doctor told him that there was a procedure call a vasectomy that could fix the problem, but it was expensive.

A less costly alternative, said the doctor, was to go home and get a cherry bomb (fireworks are legal in Alabama) light it and put it in a empty beer can and then hold the can up to his ear and count to 10.

The Alabamian said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest man in the world, but I don't see how putting a cherry bomb in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me." so he wanted a second opinion and he visited a doctor in Georgia.

That doctor began to speak of a vasectomy, but seeing his patient was from Alabama, he told him to go home and get a cherry bomb light it and put it in a empty beer can and then hold the can up to his ear and count to 10.

Since the second doctor told him of the same procedure of the first doctor he decided that it MUST work. So the man went home, lit the cherry bomb and put it in the beer can.

He held the can up to his ear and began to count: "1,2,3,4,5" at which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs and resumed counting on his other hand....

This procedure also works in Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, West Virginia, Florida, So. Carolina, Missouri and Arkansas...and Quebec.

I couldn't get rid of her afterwards.
