Now I know what they endured last year....97° and not a drop of rain for a month around here.... I'm gonna go out and dance in the rain when it comes down next time..... It officially became a drought here a few days ago...

It has been raining over most of Texas for the last week-week and a half. That's a double win for us.....we need the rain and it keeps the temps (and resulting A/C bills) down.

Weather is going to be in extremes everywhere. It's rained here every day for the past week, another week of it expected. Climate change, quirk of nature, or whatever.

Eh, weather depends on which way the wind blows....
so wait long enough and it WILL change......
Case in point....it seemed as a kid that ever winter we had huge snowfalls in the Md/DC region....all the time shoveling the crap and damn sick of it....but by the late 60's that changed for some reason, and no more huge heavy snowfalls, damn few if any but by time I left there was two snows, the last one bringing 4' to my driveway......dumped the house, and don't give a flying rat's ass if I NEVER see snow again......wife wants to experience heavy snow so we going to drive up to Ga. maybe Carolinas for her show trip.....ME, I"ll stay inside bundled up like a Eskimo.....:sadangel::kimblair:

Same way here in STL area. We just came off worst heatwave since the 1950s (9 days over 100 with two of them reaching 108) temp today is suposed to be 96. There have been some very scattered storms but where I live we have not had a measurable rain fall for over a month.

It's been uncomfortable here lately.
With the humidity it's been in the 100 degree mark the past week and will continue the same next week.
I don't think people here are used to it as the streets are empty and business has been terrible this month so far. I can't wait for the snow. :D

toss ONE snowflake on a Florida road, and the whole state goes into panic mode.....:rofl::cert:

What is it with you and them snow shovels? I haven't shovelled snow since I bought my first 4 wheel drive truck... That'd be 1978. All it takes is a little patience, the stuff does melt on its own you know
