While I appreciate your attempt at aesthetics, using the flag in this manner is highly disrespectful. Laying on in on the ground, and especially stepping on it like it was a doormat is a literal slap in the face. :slap:

While I apprecate the sentiment and idea behind the photos. I do agree having the flag on the ground and her standing on it probably wasn't the best pose to choose.

Perhaps a second shoot with some alternate shots like these.

If you want to know the truth, the whole reason we put the flag on the ground was because we like the sitting/squatting shots and the ground was fvcking hot. Anything else would have looked stupid and a flag was in theme.

Standing on the flag implies wiping one's feet on it or "trampling on it"; sitting on it implies it's just a butt seat or whatever. But what's even worse is for OP to try to defend the pics. The pics are obviously offensive to a lot of Americans, which should be no surprise.
