Question for the hackers that shoot under 100

I have seen several club sets made by Adams. I am perfectly happy with Dunlop set I have now. and don't plan on buying a new set. (Lessons yes, new clubs no). Are these Adams clubs worth a damn?

Adams makes good irons, though mine are TaylorMade.

Dunlop also makes golf clubs. The name describes my game perfectly. Every time I hit a ball, someone says, "That ball dun lopped over the green."

I think the style of iron and having them fitted matters more than the manufacturer until you get below a ten handicap or so.

What do you want for them....might know a guy who will take them for the right price. Good kid that works for me and just took up the game

I was just curious if the clubs were worth a damn. Not looking to buy. I just see them on a lot of web sites for golf.

I know it isn't the clubs. It maybe the two yahoos I normally go golf with. One plays military golf (left right left right) and the other thinks he is Rodney Dangerfield.

Since nobody seems to want to give you a straight answer, I'll try.

Adams does make some good clubs. They've been around since the mid 90's, and just recently merged with Taylor Made. They've always done fairway wood, and hybrids really well. Those have been popular. They've also been doing a lot of hybrid/iron sets lately where you will have a couple of hybrid clubs merging smoothly into the irons.

So are they good clubs? Yes. They will be much better than your Dunlops. Are they worth big bucks? No. Can you enjoy the game with them? Yes.
