Looks to me like an Imron type clearcoat. It's the stuff they paint aircraft with. Hard as nails. I'd like to have my whole car cleared in that stuff.
The finish would be tougher than :madwoman:.

Have you seen it on any cars? I would put this on my front splitter if it looked good and had a good shine.

I would like to see it in person. If it can be wet-sanded then I would consider it for the bumper, hood and headlight covers.

My inlaws are in town and it didn't dawn on me till yesterday looking at thier Motor Coach that it has the stuff sprayed on the front like it says on the site. It is just like a clear coat cannot tell the difference except you do see a line as they said you would. I pushed and scraped with my finger as hard as i could and the stuff was pliable and would shows fingernail dents but go right back into shape. They said they buff it like they would regular paint. They actually had no idea that the stuff was on there.

I would like to see if it can be wetsanded to and buffed back out but i admit i am not man enough to ask them lol.

Sneak outside and wetsand your inlaws motor coach! get back to us how it turns out!

Seriously though, if it's plyable I have a hard time imagining it could be wetsanded or buffed with a machine but I also have never even seen it up close. I have clear bra on the front of my car and can't buff that but I wax it and it looks OK.
