I think that used to be more true 3 or 4 years ago than it is today. I considered looking at Lexus cars but the leather is nowhere near the same quality and the overall finishing is just not as good as BMW today. Granted, Lexus does have more features standard than BMW which is a great selling point.

As far as reliability, my 335i was in the shop twice for issues. One was a problem with the VANOS breaking, and the other was for a water pump that died but otherwise I was quite pleased. I do know of others who have had electrical issues with their cars though so maybe I just got lucky, but who knows.

At 5:45 this morning, I was notified that my 7:05 flight was canceled. I'm currently sitting at RDU, in lounge with free WiFi and drinks, waiting for my 6:40 connecting flight. Have another flight after that. My weekend plans are almost totally borked. Plus there are some other burrs under my saddle right now...

That, and I really don't give a shit about BMWs or Toyotas. :D

Hummm, hummmm long as they last 20 years without totally rusting out....most of them in Maryland lasted about ten years and the trunk/deck lids were terminal, whole car close behind....
