Too damn hot to drive the Vette. Forecast is 102 and sunny. Parking lot has no shade so between black interior and glass top the inside gets so hot I can't touch the steering wheel.

My company has only 5 recognized holidays plus we operate 24/7/365 and I work most of those holidays. If I want to think of it as a holiday as I go to work, it's ok with me. I will walk in with a smile on my face. :seasix:

It's going to be 98* here today too and I'll about pass out when I go to move it @6PM, but it's worth it. I saw a guy the other evening in a quad black C6 vert. All black, not a spot of color on it except when he hit the brakes. He was top down in 100+* degree heat.:willy:

Can't say as I blame you for that one. It was HOT. @ 5PM a co-worker came to me and asked if I could run him home. I warned him that the car was going to be really hot but he was OK with it. I hiked out to the end of the lot and got it cooled down some before I let him get in.

He's a cool elderly dude, not in good health so that's why I was concerned. He likes to ride in fun cars tho and on the way to his house he told me he snagged a ride yesterday in an IT guys modded out Mustang. Told me that my car was a lot quieter .....:lol: I told him that that was because my neighbors would kill me if I made it sound like I want to. :issues:
