This afternoon I received my car insurance policy renewal and, for the first time since college apparently, looked at my coverage limits. They were too low.
Not sure how I neglected to look at this before. In my line of work I see the cost of accidents and personal injuries everyday and it does not take long for exposure to exceed $250,000 - $1,000,000.00+ (think injury with ongoing attendant care).
I was able to purchase a $2,000,000 umbrella policy for just a few hundred dollars which, combined with my regular auto policy, could provide up to $3,000,000 coverage. It supplements the homeowners insurance as well, but I am less concerned about that aspect. It is the driving. I drive more than 25K miles per year.
How much auto liability coverage is TVBOT carrying? Personal, not business.
