The sun damage may actually be typical clear coat peeling....maybe????? He may not know the difference. 84-86 GM products had a pretty bad clear coat issue.

I don't know... There was a guy selling two vettes last year...a ZR-1 and a clean 84 with the 4+3 that had no cosmetic issues apparent in the pics and that was a phoenix car. If any place will scorch interior and paint, that would have been the car that would have shown it.

I think he wanted more than $10k for that car so it didn't sell. The ZR-1 did sell, but point being that always garaged is probably not true.

DURHAM, NH – A New Hampshire town is asking the Obama campaign to foot the up to $30,000 bill for the president's upcoming campaign stop in their city.

MyFoxBoston reports the town of Durham is asking Obama's campaign to reimburse the estimated $20,000 to $30,000 needed to fund additional police and fire safety services during his Monday visit to the University of New Hampshire.

"Community leaders do not believe that costs associated with the campaign should be borne by local taxpayers," the release says according to MyFoxBoston.

City officials say they usually would foot the bill for a presidential visit, but since this is a campaign stop they believe the Obama campaign should have to pay for the extra security.

No agreement between the Obama for America campaign and the Town of Durham had been reached on the issue as of Friday, but city officials say they are hopeful the matter will be resolved before the end of the weekend.

Durham officials say they didn’t mean to raise a ruckus, but they didn’t have the money budgeted for police, fire and EMS services needed for President Obama’s visit, and the Obama for America campaign said they wouldn’t pay.

“Some people are very positive about the position that the town has taken to date, and others have been very critical. Some have expressed it as being ‘un-American’ the position we have taken, others feel it is the right thing to do, and campaigns, whoever the party, whatever the party, should pay the costs associated with the visit,” said Durham Town Manager Todd Selig.

Town Council Chair Jay Gooze says a local resident has stepped up to the plate.

“An anonymous donor, a Durham resident, contacted the town administrator and council chair, and offered to pay for town public safety costs up to $20,000. The donor wanted us to make public his or her sentiment that the town had done the right thing in asking the campaign to do its part,” said Gooze.

That's what will happen, the Prezie is making it more expensive to do business in the US. It's hard to hold employers accountable for the fine concerning health benefits if the jobs go overseas. For the jobs that stay here, the fine is less than the cost of providing insurance benefits and now their employees have a government safety net, what do you think will happen? Any benefits and fines will trickle down to the tax payer, but we can change this in November.

In my opinion, this handed the election to Romney. The independent voters are also the ones against health care.

After dealing with the VA prior to getting out here, I realize how it really works. basically, if you are injured or have a disability (up to 2 years for some to be approved), the VA pays for that and cares for that disability only. That guy (GREGG) is a cheap Vette owner. I bet his new Sumitomos (cheapest 315 you can buy) are already 7 years old and he got them on a discount. That ridiculous wing on his Vette is made out of play dough, foil or bondo. I bet he uses the cheapest oil, coolant and gas. At gas stations he parks and waits for anyone to come in for air, pays the 50 cents and leaves. While the compressor is running he takes advantage and fill up his tires.
