Got a focking speeding ticket helping a friend, and got a note from my daughter....big freeking deal....

I HATE SUNDAY worst day of the week to be on the damn roads....

and so it was around NOON, even worse time of the evil day....

Last night, my wife, oldest son, my 8 y/o granddaughter, and myself went to a movie (M.I.B. III........Love those movies) went out for Mexican. Later wife and I soaked in the hot tub.....and I had a coupla Scotch's.
Now......preheating the grill for some T bones, micro brewed beers, and another S&S..........Soak and Scotch.

I cooked Fathers Day dinner.. just like every other Sunday.

At least it was a good dinner, French Onion Soup, Ribeye Steaks, Beer Batter Onion Rings and Wild Rice.

Went to brunch at Flemings, fresh fruit and berries with sour cream honey sauce, Prime Rib medium rare with grilled potatoes with peppers and onions, green beans with toasted almonds, creme brulee for dessert. And they gave me a $25 gift card for our next visit. It was so good. Picked up the gnome at the airport around 4. That was about it.

Bought myself a large pizza. Apparently my stomach shrank yesterday from not eating anything because I could only get half of it down before I was full. Oh well... Left over pizza for lunch tomorrow.

Watched racing all night, and this afternoon. Now I'm watching the US Open. I just finished off an awesome T-bone, baked potato, and a cob-o-corn....With 3 girls in the house, father's day is a no bitching day....Prolly my favorite day of the year...

Ran 6 miles with my daughter, took her to lunch at Fridays and then went to see Men In Black III.

Taught her how to make my shrimp and sausage lasagna and we're about to sit down for our evening meal.

Slept in (long early-up day yesterday, road trip), a visit to Lowes, going to re-do (honey-do) one of the bathrooms, just relaxing, not doing much, got the Father's Day phone greeting from the boy, etc.........

My 7 year old took me to Canobie Lake Park (http://www.canobie.com/). Dads got info for free, along with free lunch, if they were accompanied by a kid. We had a blast!

I thought of some happy memories of going to the car show with him. Chuckled at some memories and teared up at others.

But was able to celebrate it and make it a special weekend for one dad...even though he wasn't mine. :angel:

3 hour tailgate and then the Braves/Orioles game last night with myo wife and another couple we are friends with. Today we went to the pool with the kids and then took my mom and dad out for some BBQ.

Those were the highlights.

At my Father in law's in VA doing a multi birthday/Father's Day celebration with a bunch of folks.
Abbey made me a Dad's Day card that must have taken several hours with cut outs of cool cars. :angel:

Drove back from the lake house in MI and then watched my daughter in her softball All-Star game tonight. She was 2-2, two solid hits and turned a great double play. The girl hit a very hard line drive that my daughter reached up and snagged and then stepped on first for the double play. :hurray: We went out for ice cream after the game.

We went to church and I won a nice Coleman cooler in a drawing among all the dad's in the congregation. Just in time for an upcoming fishing trip, too.

Afterwards I grilled some burgers, opened my Father's Day gifts/cards from my kids and cooled out all afternoon on the couch.

Been remodeling the Master bath for three weeks,so I was painting dam near all day.

Up at 5:00am, to take my daughter to her swim meet. I was deck referee at the meet.

After the meet we went home, my wife, daughter and I did some things around the house and I grilled some turkey legs for dinner.

Bought myself a 3 1/2 T jack for garage. Went to church with the fam. Kids gave me some great home made cards and some funny store bought cards. Got some hand made little change wallets the girls made at camp last week, perfect for a hunting licence and a $20. Got two nice shirts from the wife. drank some beers with my neighbor while we watched the kids swim in the pool. came home and fell asleep in front of the race. Made chicken quarters on the grill with a little Sweet Baby Rays on. Wife made onion roasted potatos and her moms mustard bread which is AWESOME!.. then watched Homes Inspection till bed time. Worked in alittle afternoon delight too. :seasix:

Being a Yankees fan, living in a NL town i love interleague ball. Last Sunday i was at a Braves/Blue Jays game, Wednesday was the Yankees, and Saturday night was Baltimore. She watched the kids for me Sunday and Wednesday while i went with friends and Saturday i took her and we went with another couple that we are friends with and did the whole tailgate thing. I wasn't expecting anything and she surprised me with abottle of this too..
