My car is 3 years old and yesterday it would not start, it said there was no FOB, put the FOB in the glove box to get it started. Dealer said the battery in the FOB was week and they replaced it, cost $5.00. Does anybody know how long the battery should last in the FOB and if you can buy the battery at any drug store?

see my response to your post over in the other forum you posted it in. The battery in your FOB is probably a Cr2032. The 2006 FOB tells on the back what battery it uses. Maybe your FOB does, too. If it is a Cr2032, you can find them in just about any place that carries watch batteries; Walmart, K-Mart, Sears, Krogers, Meyers, Wegeman's, Radio Shack, CVS, etc., etc.

I've had my car for 3 yr and recently I got the same thing. I went and got the CR2032 batteries it calls for. I have yet to change the battery out yet but carry the new replacement batteries with me just in case I have that issue come up again. :seasix:
