View Full Version : If you saw American Pickers
Tonight. The old guy that had the old Steam engines that was a hell of an artist. That was here in the berg I live in. I knew that he had to be close when he said the trolly car collection machine came out of Salisbury NC.
Damn Antique Archeology was here in the DC....

They were here in Lex and WS about 2 seasons ago. I recognized a couple of the highway signs and one of the barns.

They were in MN on one episode and a guy had a shit-ton of old signs in the rafters of a barn.
There was a Standard Oil sign that I REALLY want...
I emailed them and they can't give me contact info and they can't buy it and resell it to me. :(
I like the show.

No reason was given.
Being in Minnesota...it couldn't have been too far from them. At least compared to some of the road trips they take.
I understand that they couldn't give an address or phone number, but I hoped they could contact the guy and see if he would sell it.
I've found stuff online that I like, but they are too far away/too big to ship. :(
That one, I could probably make the drive to pick it up.
I found an old Amoco sign here in town, but the owner wasn't interested in selling.
They have a store here in Nashville, cool stuff in there.

They filmed an episode about 10 miles from me last year. The local paper had a write up about it. The guys signed autographs and talked with everyone that showed up to watch the filming.
