Well, I do like my tits in bits so I was gonna pick up several. Yet, for some reason, the wife didn't want me to pick up more tits. :D

We stayed at the Peninsula. Let's just say the website and ratings are different than the actual hotel. No, we're not still there although I imagine it would be fun to spend longer enjoying the sights. We didn't make it to any of the places you mentioned. Yet, we may have gone through a hawker center if that's like an open market. The trip was a blast overall. We saw a lot of cool things and had more fun than the law allows. We even ended up in the Indian section of the island at one point. I didn't enjoy walking the wife through huge groups of dudes just sitting around in the grass and milling around while waiting for some shit to commence. We were a group of four with the wife's cousin and another guy as tour guides who, I might add, misjudged on what was and was not cool in that one instance. At my urging, we soon got the hell outta there. :D

I want to go back to Asia for a vacation. Do most people speak English? I went to Korea a while back and everyone there knows enough to get by.

Next time you go shoot me a PM. I have spent a great del lof time in Singapore.
And Crime is not an issue in Singapore. It is one of the safest places in the world. Little India is the dirtiest part of town but their are lots of great places to eat and drink there.

Yes, many folks in Asia speak English, however, understanding their English sometimes can be a challenge depending upon who it is and where your at. I've met some that said English words but didn't make much sense and some that speak perfect English with American or British/Australian accents. Normally, stick to the correct, non-slang English and you'll be fine. You can really fling 'em off course with a bunch of slang connected together. :D But hell, their English is usually so much better than me trying to speak their language.

Thanks, Thailand is on the top of my list and I think I can get by in the larger cities. Its such a long way away that when I go I may want to do two or three countries.

Very  If we go back, I'll definitely take you up on the offer. And as far as crime, I didn't know it was one of the safest and wasn't going to take any chances. It made me think of Kowloon in Hong Kong and the Indian/Pakistani dudes sitting on the rails or standing on the sides of the sidewalk leering at any lady that walks by. It was absolutely packed with dudes with no game and following any female with their eyes. Those guys probably had ether and rags in their pockets.

I'm hearing the Chinese are making a three country vacation with Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand as their destinations. A tour with multiple countries would be a good deal. Drop me a pm if you want further info on where to go.

I have spent a great deal of Time in Kowloon as well. Singapore is a very safe city with lots of rules and they do not tolerate crime.
BTW the national language in Singapore is English.

Kowloon is pretty  I got a kick out of how the price of electronics sky rocketed from 1990 to 2003. I compared the prices and realized it was complete opposites and I could buy items cheaper in the States in 2003.
After being in the P-I a while, clean streets and well maintained cars were nice to see. I did get a kick out of the subway minders. They were the ladies who didn't want anyone hanging out in the middle area while waiting for the next train. :D

No doubt it was great going down, I loved it the night before myself. :seasix:
But the next morning my spinkter was so puckered tight I was afraid smoke rings would blow out of it if I relaxed even a little
