Sounds like a general case of publicity stunt gone wrong and with a big dose of misunderstand and jumping the gun to overreacting before getting all the facts!

I didn't read the interview yet so allow me to post this first: I did see the video and the meltdown on CF regarding the whole thing but I did not understand why everyone was so upset. If it had been a '62 Ferrari GTO I could understand but I could take you to two places right now where there are C4's rotting in the weeds and a dozen more places where you could see some seriously neglected ones as well. The C4 is a great car but there's thousands of them and in the end it's really just a car. If they had chopped a C5 apart it wouldn't have bothered me one bit.
