Ever since I did the one piece rear clip I've thought the side markers really stuck out like a sore thumb.

So, I took them off...

Then I cut out the back of the recess

Sanded the edge of the lens in prep for some adhesive

Installed the lens with some 3M plastic repair adhesive and sanded it flush with the body panel

Shot a little primer just to see how it was looking

Really nice, I look forward to seeing it when you get done. :awesome:
Looks great Gary but I was really waiting for you to do some sort of holographic imaging for all your lights so they stand a foot off the body. :leaving:
Looking good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet it looks great when it's finished.

I always like new ideas since I am getting pretty good with a grinder and a hammer. I would however love to know where you got that LED strip that you were able to bend a bit for your rear brake light if i remember correctly
I went to the Barn today, to see in person , the latest creation from Gary. These pictures do not represent the total effect of this mod. You can see the lights, but they are soooo well blended, you may miss them, Someone else said maybee hographic lights or something, These are like that. This mod along with all the others Gary has done, makes this car look like a bullet.

:iagree:
I must of just missed you. The sidemarkers are sick, simply sick. A photo could not do them justice. The back quarter just flows and you don't even notice the markers until the light hits them and you can see the red. I knew they would look good but didn't know they would look this good. Awesome job GB!
