need some ideas for fishing rod storage

I have 5 rods and a fly rod I want to keep in my boat house. The the wall studs are visible. I would like something simple but something other than nails in the studs as racks.

I took a thin board and some T cup hooks. Turn the back hook in a different direction to help secure the rods. It was cheap and it keep them safe.

Use nice wood and nice hooks and throw in some stain or something and it will look like DAB made it.

I don't have any pics, because my shed was removed this week to make room for the garage extension and pool dig.

I would encase them somehow like in mailing tubes or pvc pipe, because every boathouse I've ever been in was filled with cobwebs.

My dad has a plastic locker that he keeps his in. Tall, about 30" wide, two doors that open outwards, and doohickies on the inside that keep the rods separated and neat. Also a shelf above for holding line, tackle, pliers, that sort of thing. Of course all his rods are about 5' long or so.

cob webs are a problem. I really don't think I could seal anything up enough to keep spiders out except pvc pipe.

Store 'em on the ceiling. They're out of the way, and ease of access is primo.
You can make your own, but for $27.00, just get something like this.
