There is a girl that rides the same tracks I do...she rides a 250 and goes out and passes all the boys. That is my goal in life.

I want a 250 so bad!

One of the guys I purchased some triple parts from has a garage full of 250 cc two stroke road race bikes. He loves them.

To paraphrase him
"Yeah, some guys pass me on the straights but I eat them up in corners because they're scared. Anybody can go fast in a straight line"

Pretty much. I had a guy on an R1 tell me that he struggled to keep up with me in the turns (at the track)...and was nice enough not to pass me on the straights.

I had no idea that was the case. Why don't they use them in races then ?:cool1:

They do, the 250 classes are full since you can run hard and not eat up equipment. You learn to be extremely smooth and you can't "twist" your way to the front.

imo, the 250 guy/girl was a way better driver the the folks with the bigger bikes.

Would that be similar to a Miata versus a Viper on the same track?

Many people only push on the grip corresponding to the direction they want to turn, to turn harder they simply push harder. There's a better way... Pulling on the opposite grip at the same time gives a huge control advantage, especially with big bikes.
