Desktop calendar or to do list

I'm lazy. I forget to open my calendar or even google calendar.

Looking for a desktop calendar that i can always have open. preferably one I can share with others on my network....any ideas?

I've used "remind me" for more than a decade.
Only problem is it doesn't have shared network capability.

Presuming you're using Win, this one looks like "Active Desktop Calendar" might fit the bill.
