Just got home and man was it HOT!!!

First circuit was a bit on the slow side, but on my afternoon run we were movin' down the back stretch at a pretty good clip.

I only got to 100mph. I drove in the very first group. John went a little faster in the afternoon group, 110mph.

My black Z06 is in one of those pics. :D I'm behind the rental (ZHZ).

The first time out, we were quite pleased to get up to 25 mph on the back straight. Damn school zone. :cuss: :cuss:

On our last run, we got up to 143 on the back straight. At one point, we got up to 120 on the front straight. :leaving:

I'm glad you got to finally pick up a little speed. We were in the very first group out on the track. When we parked a guy that was in the back of our group started yelling at those of us in the front us like it was our fault the pace truck wasn't going faster. Not cool!!! I made it to 100mph on the 3rd or 4th lap down the backstretch. John got to 110 that afternoon. When we went in 2010 we were able to go alot faster.

How far apart were you from the car in front of you or behind you generally?I can envision a catastrophe if too close.
