Here's dinner for tonight:

A Heinekin beer
1 1/2 lbs. huge boiled peanuts

Then a gin and tonic and a walk to the garden for dessert:

Strawberries
Blueberries
Blackberries
Plums (big purple ones with red meat)
Italian Honey Figs (a yellow fig with whitish-gold meat...and appropriately named)

Ahhhh! (Burp!...'scuse me)

Sorry, I love peanuts but boiling them ruins them for me

It's purely a Southern dish. Do you like steamed soybeans? Very similar in taste.

I have absolutely no appetite at all today.
I ate a couple pieces of carrot but I don't feel like eating at all. :bilmem:

Yes, have had them in Japanese restaraunts. They are OK but still not as good as dry roasted nuts

What do you think the problem is (if any)?

Thanks! It was very good. If you try boiled peanuts try to put every "bad" thing you've heard about them out of your mind. They are not gross! If you are lucky enough to find some big, young, tender ones those are the best. The small peanuts are just not as good.

Edamame is fine but nothing beats fresh dry roasted nuts

Too much shit going on at once with a lot of loose ends.
I can't take care of one issue or project without waiting for 5 things to happen before it.

I just want to sleep and get tomorrow started asap. :cert:
