View Full Version : Wednesday night Dinner folks - PLEASE step in
I have received a lot of PM from members asking if I can save people a plate, and I am more than happy to do so. However, as a group, I would love for all of us to dine together if everyone is ok with it.
I know dinner is scheduled for 6pm, but I have a lot of people that will not be showing up until 7-8pm.
For those planning on dining at 6pm, would you have an issue with dining at 8pm with the others? I have no problem cooking twice, but if we can all dine together as a group I think it would be nice.
Please let me know if you are for or opposed to this proposal :seasix:
Thanks!!

I doubt the caravan from Texas will be there before 7:30 or 8:00, so that is fine with me. :cert:
If you can fix some cocktail weenies or other cheap h'orderves it might keep the early arrivals satiated until we get there.

Just throw some cornmeal on the ground. That'll keep them busy.

I'm ok with that. But I know Paul does not eat after 7pm due to heartburn and indigestion issues.
We may need to fix a little something for him and then he can watch us eat later! :D
:cert:
We should be there around 4 or 5.

If the beer trailer is operating, and someone wants to open a bottle of bourbon, I'm ok.:shots:

Like I said, I can accommodate those who want, and it is not an issue to cook early.
I would be happy to get some food together early for anyone. I will have to fire up the smoker about 3pm regardless if I am cooking for a 6pm or an 8pm crowd. I would be happy to get food ready for anyone that would like to eat early.
If you want to eat early, just say the word and I will throw something on for you guys :cert:
Been driving all day. Expect to arrive 4-5pm. I can wait for the Texans.
Food is better with friends.

Thanks Dixie! And thanks Wendy, I was just getting ready to post that!
Yeah, I can't eat late anymore. :( I can't sleep for chit if I do, up all night.
I don't even need a lot, just something to get in my belly and take my pills! I usually eat about half of what everybody else does, so if it IS too much trouble to cook just a little plate worth (if I'm the only one), then please don't, I'll get something else that is small.
I don't mind drinking beer and socializing while everybody else eats! No trouble at all!!
