This weekend's yard work

Did some more yard work to the back corner.

Mary weeded the edge and then we put down a bunch of mulch

We placed a bunch of sticks under the arborvitae for the critters to hide. Hostas will be planted behind the mulch to "hide" the sticks.

Local nursery sells hardwood mulch for $19.99 a scoop. It just fits in my 4' x8' trailer :lol:

Mary's been working on clearing the area next to the shed.

The area just in front of the big pine tree was the "stick collection area" since we moved here in '03. Plenty of good compost was removed and spread in the back corner ( two pictures up ). The astroturf ( previously on the front porch when we moved in ) will be going in the shed for the cub cadets to rest on :seasix:

Weed barrier and more mulch :hurray: The entire area will be covered in mulch.

We'll get more mulch later in the week. :seasix:

:rofl: I got an airplane ride from a fellow CCDV member and had him fly over my house. I then found out a Mooney Ovation can make it from the Zionsville area back to Pennridge Airport in 10 minutes :seasix: Took over 30 minutes to drive it in the corvette :rofl:
