I guess it's not that easy to copy one, that is if you want to look at the pile of them I have in the trashcan. I need it to boot thus my problem.

You can download a windows bootdisk and burn it on another machine. I had to this the last time my laptop caught the funk.

I keep a copy on a flash drive, now.

There isn't a boot disk for Windows 7.
