A piece of 5" high density foam and the cushions on top.

Seriously, we recently got the 17" Bed In A Box mattress and have it in our waterbed frame, which is a perfectly good platform bed frame. We absolutely love it. Had a waterbed for many years but this mattress is simply awesome. My back feels great, my wife sleeps so good that she no longer gets up some nights to sleep in the recliner, something she thought she needed to do when her sinuses were clogged up. I can get out of the bed in the middle of the night and she doesn't feel anything on her side.

Problem is I can't have an actual bed in my office at work.
2 weeks ago I bout a Sealy Posturpedic mattress for my bed at home. I just wish I bought the medium firm one instead of the firm.

Well, we used to have a free-flow water bed mattress and there is a difference when having sex on it vs. memory foam as you can guess but it's simply not an issue for us. The memory foam mattress is great for sleeping, for sex, and the cats like it too. :lol:
