Nope, Life Member since 1993 and haven't had a phone call from them in years :seasix:
( My wife answers the phone most of the time and if you don't talk within 2 seconds, she hangs up. :D )
They call here 4-5 times a day, always the same number. Today I was home to answer, and of course I knew it was a telemarketer of some sort due to the delay when answering. It was the NRA wanting money.
No, because some time ago, I told them I was going to quit supporting them if they didn't stop calling me and sending me shit in the mail. No calls, no junk mail since.

They don't call I am just a nobody to them. sniff sniff Of course, it probably has something to do with them not having my number.

I support the NRA. I just don't need to be hounded with junk mail and phone calls. You can opt out by just giving them a call.

Didnt work for me.
Calls about once a week.
Tons of junk mail.
After sending them a reply card that says “not interested” they sign me up anyway.
Asked them to put me on their no call list, still got calls and junk mail.
F*ck’em dropped them.
I support the cause but damn, its like I joined a televangelist church.
Even after I dropped them and told them why, I still get calls asking to join.
Wish I had never joined.
I guess I was just more convincing over the phone. Shortly after my call to them, everything stopped.

Yes, I have had a few calls from their Fairfax, VA telephone number but I let it go to my answering machine since it is a recorded call. If they don't leave a message they will never get to talk with me.
Caller ID together with an answering machine are a godsend.

Opting out worked for me fine... but also, if it doesn't, you can always log in online and change your phone number and address. :yesnod:
Red Cross? Just tell them you have Hep-C and you are HIV+, but that you still want to give blood. Ask them where you can go tomorrow to give.

I was a member for several years and had the same experience. After telling them several times to quit calling to ask for more money I did not renew memership. Sometimes I wonder how many people they alienated by their hounding for more money

Only caller that leaves a message at my place are the dorks that want to lower my interest rates. Why they think I care? Haven't paid interest on anything since about the same time I stopped answering the phone 3 decades ago

I just tell them mofo's I don't even have a credit card. Which I don't. Ends the conversation pretty quick.

Did the same thing, told them they were worse than the Catholic Church, when it came to asking for handouts.

I get tons of junk mail from them, but I purposefully didn't give the my phone #. My dad chewed them out and after that they've not called his home or sent him anything. I swear they spend more $ on calling/mailing us than what they get in dues.
