So for my birthday, my wife got us good tickets for the Rangers/Angels game last night, which was a big game as it marked the return of C. J. Wilson, who left for the Angels after being the Rangers ace last year. Even better, he was facing his replacement Yu Darvish, but I ramble on about baseball and this is the photo section....
This was my first attempt at shooting baseball and I think my autofocus was fooled a bit by the netting behind home plate so the shots are a little soft. Also shooting at 1600 ISO so there's some noise. Camera is a 7D; lens was a 24-105L Canon. Exposure was 1/800 @ f4. At any rate, I was able to catch the following sequence of Hamilton's second home run of the night and thought I'd share.
