I got the clear bra on my Vette and it's like everywhere. Behind the wheels, on the mirrors, the whole front, half the hood and the head lights. I am thinking about taking it off the hood and head lights as it kind of bugs me.

My question is how many of you get stone chips on your hood?

if you drive it on a daily basis DO NOT take them off if you value your paint. I can send you pics of mine that will show what then years of daily driving will do. That is why i am stripping the car and repainting it after i retired it to a weekend driver. I will be putting the clear strips on after i paint it for sure....or have my wife drive in front with a broom or something lol

Fine, the bra stays on. Hmmm, that doesn't sound like much fun. :leaving:

Ironically, I had more stone chips in the hood and headlight cover panels than anywhere else in the front (before the MCM hood went on). The bumper still shows few if any actual chips , maybe an attribute to more flex agent in the painting process of the soft urethane? :bilmem:

The ACI splitter also has it's fair share of war wounds and stone chips. But yet the front fascia itself still looks pretty clean.

I feel ya Y2. I've had my ACI about a year, and it's been repaired twice, and re-painted 3 times. Thank goodness for Duplicolor.
