I've had this poster idea in my head for the past 5 years. It pretty much sums up my career philosophy. Finally got around to doing the editing work and putting it together, printed, and framed. Had one of my civilian employees come into my office yesterday, saw the poster and commented that he felt it was "inappropriate" because it had a cuss word in it.

I politely told him to pound sand and feel free to keep his opinions to himself, the poster isn't going anywhere. I can't believe people these days, it's not like I had a poster of Knooger getting jack hammered by savewave

In what Quaker community is "damn" considered a curse word?

Where's the cuss word?

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.

That's a fine poster. Damn isn't a curse word. You should change it to "fcuk the consequences" and rehang it

It's a grade school metality thing. Did your mom let you talk like that?

It's inappropriate for a grade school classroom... Beyond that, anyone who complains is simply an idiot that has yet to be taught why sticking their nose into other peoples business isn't a good idea :issues:

I would have your Superior determine if it is appropriate.

I know you are upper middle management, best to keep your 6 covered.

Damn nice framing job. I would of used a little larger mat though to put more focus on the image. :leaving:

Well, considering the F bomb is perfectly acceptable at the morning meeting, I don't see the problem. And basically, your office and none of his damn business. Oh, did I say "damn"???? Guess I did, oh well.... Military types, mechanics, Ops, Supervision, ground pounders, etc. use colorful language. Goes with the territory. If the civilian doesn't like it, he might want to seek a less offensive job. I mean...WTFO?????

The photo was taken by a guy around Montgomery and I got permission to use it. The rest is all me.

I think the caption for the Knooger picture might be "Welcome to the new CFOT" :seasix:

The proper response would have been, "...to get your pansy ass out of my damn office before I help you out of it, dickhead."

I like it. Its a lot better than most of those motivational posters you have seen a hundred times in various offices.
