Electrical Engineering here.

I used it for eight years, but haven't used it for the past fourteen. Does that make it useless?

:dunno:

B.A. Journalism, and while I am not working as a reporter it has allowed me to combine my writing skills with the management skills I learned in the Army so that I make several times more than the "experienced" graduate salary listed. :seasix:

I used my EE degree for about 9 years. :lol:

It's not useless, I found that I was much better at writing software than I was doing EE stuffs.

I was a good engineer. I just hated working for someone else, so I became self employed.

I got bored, so I became a volunteer deputy sheriff for adventure and excitement.

It's an insult to people who worked hard in college to call them "fries" degrees.

Some of these people make a good latte, too.:lol:

I dont have any of those but I know of someone in just about each catagory. most of the ones with english or history or philosophy end up teaching or doing somthing completely unrelated. My sister was a music major, now she teaches english...:yesnod:

Me = EE

Shoulda' gone electrical, huh?

nah, i never could wrap my noggin around the electrical stuffs. plug it in, turn it on, it damn well better work and not emit smoke and fire.

was a pretty good FORTRAN coder long ago, but no one is doing that, and sitting writing code didn't appeal to me.

i like things i can touch and see. i like solving problems....but no one is interested in that.
