View Full Version : My neighbor is a fugitive

So, we've noticed Sheriff's cars and unmarked vehicles hanging around lately. We usually have several squad cars parked on our street since the cops live here. But something is up.

Turns out, my neighbor across the street (one we've never had issues with) is a wanted man for some reason. I'm guessing because he's sort of a drunken yahoo. That leads me to believe he was engaging in some kind of drunken yahoolary and now has a warrant. This was confirmed by my contacts at the popo although the nature of said yahoolary was not disclosed.

Just saw him sneak up to his house in some chick's car, run inside for a few minutes (she drove around the block) and then, zing - he's gone again.

Cops next door said to let him know if we see him.

I ain't doing it. Would you?

I figure it's none of my business. He's never been a problem to me.

I can't recall any cop ever helping me do my job.

They had me and let me go. You'd think they would have a better cover story than arresting my neighbor. Oh, well. Me and the boy are ready.

Stick toothpicks in the door lock. At least slow him down a little.

Call crimestoppers and find out if there's a reward. Turn him in if there is. It's anonymous.

I don't do it even when a neighbor is a problem. If you watch COPS half the time they arrest the person that called them. I want nothing to do with unpredictable people... Especially ones who think guns are only useful for putting holes in people.

This.

After all, the OP has vicious attack dogs that need to be gunned down. He shouldn't call the police and put himself and his family at risk.

Call, or not. He'll get caught eventually.

Do you at least know if it's a felony or not?

Cops around here know me and my dogs. I'm sort of known as the guy who actually trains his GSDs. We've had a cop stop by to ask questions about getting a GSD for her family...

Call, or not. He'll get caught eventually.

No. But it must be somewhat serious based on the amount of effort and the number/type of vehicles they've been trotting out.

He is a pretty nice guy. Just a drunk.

If he drinks hard, he may do drugs.. If he does drugs that could lead to all sorts of things, like theft to support his habit, assault, bad drug deals, distribution, etc...

Meh. Just consider the extra patrol in your neighborhood as a bonus.

If he drinks hard, he may do drugs.

If he does drugs, he may sell drugs.

If he sells drugs, he may have killed somebody.

If he killed somebody, he may have done it a number of times.

Holy crap! Your neighbor is a mass murderer! Run!

For all you know he is wanted on child molestation charges. Give the cops a hand, they will appreciate it, your next speeding ticket might just turn into a verbal warning :cert:

I'd rather not find that he is a murderer the hardway.

I'd call the cops. Shit i'd call just becasue i would be tired of seeing them sitting on his place.

Let him be, as Thrak said.. he has never been a problem as a neighbor.

I was just making a point. Say he is just a drunken disorderly type, means possible DUI, hit and run? My point is no one really knows WHY he is wanted, but he IS wanted and therefore a criminal. Doesn't hurt to make a 10 second phone call to let them know he was there and what he drove off in.
