Thanks to Larry and Ben for showing up. Great drive, multiple weather with temperatures from low 50s to 98°F.

I will wait for Larry to explain about "Coffee Boy". It would not be fair for me to steal his Corvette 3 seconds of fame. :thumbs:

Got about 3 hours of footage. Will edit and make a 10 minute clip.

I would have liked to have made the run, but I came up on a deal to buy LS7 exhaust for my LS3, and also finished putting another set of pipes on my 91...not to mention I went to AZ last weekend.

Needless to say I had no gas money left.

About how many miles did the whole route take?

I drove 748 miles (home-home). The run from Ventura to Hearst Castle is 208 miles and that gave me 18.6 average MPG.

Total

748 miles

40.041 gallons

18.7 avg MPG

$4.485 avg gas price

$179.38 on gas

$140 lodging

$50 meals

We were parked on the coffee shop parking lot and this dude comes
along with his cup of joe. He looks like the kind of guy that definitively
doesn't wear the pants in his house.

Glad to see you guys had a great time,thanks for sharing your pics...Im also glad you had nice sunny weather,we are in the middle of a snow storm on this side of the country.. Were suppose to get 3 to 5 inches of snow today..Im starting to see how our furry little friiend up north feels most of the year....:nutkick:....WW

Actually I looked at him with a weird look and a smart ass smile on my face. That is the stupidiest thing anyone ever said to a C4. I may put that animation on the C4 stupid thread.

I'm sorry to have missed it, but the power went out at about 4:30 am Sat, I woke up about 7:15 and even in a mighty C4 would not have made it to Ventura in time to join you guys.

Power was out until 4:00 that afternoon, thanks SCE! Guess it's time to invest in an automatic generator backup for the house!

At 7:15 AM his cell phone woke him up, he looked at his alarm radio clock and there it was, it was 4:30 AM. I still waiting for OC Dave to explain his newest BS excuse (wife dont let him go) or hi "I wish I could go" post.

Thanks, Jim. I am only glad it happened after I had finished my coffee, otherwise there would have been a fine coffee spray all over the cars. :dance:

Thanks, Pete, for a very organized and well thought out run. It was a lot of fun with a great combination of twisty-turneys and scenery. It was a great day. I also found out how much faster, how much better your car handled, and how much faster your brakes worked after the modications. :seasix:

The only regret I had on the run was the food at that little hole in the wall was so good I ate everything on the plate. Then the lady came out and asked if we wanted a piece of fresh baked apple pie just from the oven. Yes, I would, if I had the room. :D

This is the what I once called the 2 of 2 Bomber Run for me and Friz. Friz couldnt come to SoCal due to bussiness, but if he ever comes this route is marked and scouted. :seasix:

4-22-2012 Tepusquet Rd, Foxen Canyon Rd and Hwy 154 - YouTube

This is the route Larry and I drove few weeks ago. I drove it "backwards" to avoid traction problems. :D
The HD Pro battery died and had to use the Sony. There is a big difference in quality and sound. On the sony I can appreciate the poly bushings and the cheap C4 seat design.
