Iran was one of the most modernized and socially advanced Muslim countries as well as the biggest Us consumers not all that long ago (30yrs ago?) weren't they?

Kaataah screwed the pooch, most of the Iranians are liking USA, it's the southern region idiots....Trashkaniston that are the problem, but of course it's too simple a problem for our .gov to figger out....

Impressions? I'll be there in a couple of weeks.
Its a big town and reminds me of Paris more than any place else. Its pretty and since they are not on the Euro, its a bit cheaper here than in Germany or Austria.

I'm staying in an apartment about 100 yards from the Charles bridge and I'm only paying about $150 per night.

Download trip advisor and use it. Call your mobile provider and get a data package. I'd recommend at least 250 mb for a two week trip. Then download and use Skype or Google to call back into the US over your internet data plan.
