CINCINNATI -- For years now, an NFL theme song has bragged about rowdy friends on Monday night, but now the league wants those rowdy fans to be respectful.

The league is debating implementing new policies for bad behavior.

According to a report in Monday's issue of the New York Post, any fan who has been booted from any of the league's 32 stadiums who fails to pass a code of conduct exam won't be allowed back.

"It comes down to what are the rules and why (they were) kicked out in first place. If rules are strict enough and measurable, sure, I'd be for it. But it's to arbitrary, maybe it wasn't the case and try to regulate too much," Bengals fan Brian James said.

A California psychotherapist who hatched the idea also created the website Fanconductclass.com.

A fan who is caught being a troublemaker at a game would have to go to the site, pay $75 and take an online exam that could last up to four hours.

Fans would have to get at least 70 percent of the questions right before being allowed back in.

To enforce the measure, once a fan is booted their photo would be taken and seat number written down. Security would then be on the lookout for the offender.

Sounds like a money maker for the psychotherapist.

In the cities that have the worse behaved fans I doubt those that would benefit care or can read. (Oakland)

Pro football fans can be real 'tards, although the standard is set in San Francisco.
