So a guy proposed to his girl at the Braves game yesterday...

They were about 4 rows down from us. I guess the guy sold it as a family outing to her as there were about a dozen of their friends and fam there. Anyway he proposes, she says yes, and all 12 or whatever of them stand up and hug and kiss each other for a good long while.

After ten minutes of this shit i had enough and started a "DOWN IN FRONT" chant that took on a life of its own in short order. They proptley got up and left to relocate somewhere else to celebrate.

I got the look from the girls mother and sister as soon as i started it. The mom was pretty suprised when about 40 others joined in within 20 seconds or so. :D

Best part about it was my buddy and i timed it just right as our wives got up to go to the restroom. As soon as they cleared the top of the steps we started up. 5 minutes later they came back and were like "Nice, they left... " I was like "yup..":leaving:

I find it incredibly weird to want to do your proposal in public. First, you're really putting her on the spot. Second, it's a silly attention-whore dick move. FYI, I proposed to my wife "in public" on the campus of Texas A&M. Some of our family and friends where there. It was a complete surprise to her but I had no doubt in my mind and heart she would say yes. She thought I was getting an award from the University for some work I did there as a student.

I was going to graduate college in about 9 months and we were discussing what we'd do after I graduated and got a job. I said "I guess we'll just move in together." She said "Well, there's just one problem with that. My father would probably kill you." "Oh, yeah, forgot about that. Guess we'll have to get married first."

That was the root of the problem. They were flagging down any stadium employee that passed trying to get a cameraman over so she could be on the jumbo-tron. One of the reasons they were on their feet for so long. One did eventually come over but they never made it up there from what i saw.
