I had my own plow day today. Total length of such plow day was less than 15 minutes

Put the 10" Brinly mould board plow on the Cub Cadet 125 and made a few very short passes for our tomato garden.

Since this was "make it up as you go", I did the first pass twice to get depth. Second pass worked pretty good but the third pass I stopped about 4' from the end. :confused5: I throttled up, backed up a few inches and powered my way thru. :hurray:

When I went to do the fourth pass, I saw what my problem was, a root just under an inch in diameter

After my wife relocates the hostas in the dirt spot, I'll do a few more passes then rototill with the Cub Cadet 122.

It was fun while it lasted :seasix:

I have clay and rock to deal with. I have to really be in the right frame of mind to tackle what these people call dirt around here.

I can't get 'maters to grow in a f*cking pot  Replanted one I had growing inside on the window sill and it died almost instantly. The other two plants I put into the outdoor pot are doing fine, but the first two tomatoes either rotted away or one was eaten by something.

Two of my friends used those last year. One said it was a complete waste of money and the other is doing it again this year.

Something clipped one of my grape vines about 6" from the ground during the Winter (rabbit or squirrel). No great loss, plenty of others and this one was the runt... But if it was one of my good vines there'd be hell to pay.

Check the PH levels of your soil. What variety did you try to grow ?

I hate you.

I don't mind a little rain but we don't need anything heavy.
