Not bad mileage for my "performance" car

2007 Jaguar XK, 3671 lbs. curb weight, 300 h.p., 0-60 in 5.6 secs. On a 350 mile trip this past Tuesday I got 28.6 mpg driving 70-75 mph. At 70 mph, it's barely turning 2,000 rpm. I think that's pretty damned good!

It's not the eco-boost so yeah. It's kinda of heavy.

I just looked it up: 18 mpg/city, 25 highway. 4200-4600 lbs.

Yep. I usually get around 20 city, though, since i've kinda stopped driving like an asshole over the past couple of years.

Back in August '07 I went to a JAcksonville Suns minor leage baseball game with my dad for his birthday. Got drunk as hell, too, but I won a used car as part of the promotion going on that night. It's was '92 cadillac El Dorado, one owner, had 154K miles on it, and had the 5.0L front wheel drive engine/tranny. That thing was a slug, cost me $300.00 for new tires and an alignment to get it back to Augusta, GA where i was living, and I got $1K for it when I traded it in to get my wife a better car. :lol:

I'm not sure if that car meant as a prize or a f*cking joke.
