I think we're ready to go!!!
Thank god for air conditioning! Worked all weekend in the garage, moving, cleaning, and setting up for the July mod party. If you're not on the list and want to come by, check it out HERE (http://www.thevettebarn.com/forums/mid-atlantic-regional-events-discussion/3113-mod-party-saturday-july-10th.html)

Having three dental implants done on Wednesday, camping Fri, Sat, and Sun. Then 4 days at work to recharge!

What a garage.... I wish I had that kind of space for the race car build... sure beats my basic 2 car.

I may have an issue with may header install. I thought I could use a 3" band clamp from the Cat to my exhaust system but the more I look at it I thinking it may need to be welded in. :toetap: Me not being a welder anybody coming to the Mod party with a welder and the welding skills? Jeff is there an exhaust shop near by who could weld the Cat?

I weld, but working at a shop full of welding equipment, I never had the need to own any. I'll see if I can find something small enough to bring home. If not, most rental places have 110 volt units that will work just fine.

Anyone else have one sitting around that they could bring?

Jeff... will there be any way to jack the motor over to the side a little with the car up on a lift? On a C5 you have to unbolt the motor mounts from the cradle (from the bottom) and tilt the motor sideways to get the headers to slip in. Its easy to do with a floor jack when doing the install on jackstands, but on a lift that wouldn't work. Do you have anything that would work for that? I guess you could always just lower the lift down enough to where a floor jack and a couple of blocks of wood would reach the oil pan to achieve the same result.... Just trying to think ahead.

I have a 110V MIG but I don't know if I can make it.

Tony, do you have room for it in your SUV?

A bridge and portable jack (bottle or scissor) I have both.

Should be room, just me and Tom M (If he does not drive my ZR-1) in the Trailblazer SS and I can drop the rear seat if need be.

Having seen Jeff use a Zippo BBQ lighter I may have to go to the main house for something when he fires up the welder!!!:stop:

That lift looks good put together in your garage. I like how you got the lifts situated. Easy access to the tools, fridge, safes, and camper. Where's the Callaway? :o_o:

Right this minute she's passed out on the bed in the camper. Camping wears her out!

Surfing the net while camping in style. Hope you're watching the race too. It's getting good but won't be over until late due to the rain. When I rolled through Daytona this morning, the sky was clear.

Back on topic.... mod party!!!
