View Full Version : So...Last Night I Saw The Eagles Concert In Dallas...

Gotta say...it was one of the best shows I've seen. I will now die a happy man because I got to see "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and "Dirty Laundry" performed live. Pretty good atmosphere too. Most of the people were...ahem..."older." Glenn Frey called it the Eagles "Assisted Living Tour."

I've never actually paid for a concert twice until now, and...well...lets just say that I hope that the person who had the original set of tickets THAT I PAID DEARLY FOR choked on them. 'Nuf said... :cuss:

While on the subject of dirty laundry...we were seated next to Jane McGarry, the longtime news anchor at KXAS-TV in Dallas. The normally buttoned up Jane was apparently trying to take a photo with her cell phone in a section she wasn't supposed to be in. She came back ranting about how some "Motherf****r" wouldn't let her or asked her to move or something like that. :lolsmile:

She got happier after awhile, and when they started playing "Dirty Laundry" I leaned over and said "Are you gonna be ok with this or will I have to get you a beer to throw at Henley?" She just laughed and gave me two thumbs up and the whole section had a good time the rest of the evening. :cheers:

Glad you had a good time. They are coming to Little Rock soon but I don't think will be able to afford tickets. The have been her a couple times before and usually play outdoors. Not this time though.

we saw 38 Special and Lynard Skynard last sunday night in Virginia Beach...it was the Gods and Guns tour...or Polident! :D

Careful. He's still steamed that he traded prime tickets to see the Eagles at the Hollywood Bowl to an underprivileged waif for some magic beans and a donkey.

Eh....lesson learned. IMO...the price of the Eagles tickets was pretty small for the knowledge gained. :)

Best part of the show was Bret... Skynrd seemed blah.....
